2013 Maserati GranTurismo Coupe Review

The mention of a four seater usually calls to mind the image of the sober, modest, quintessential family transport sedan. Nothing fancy, no frills, enough space for the kids. Maserati, however, is a company that seems bent to change this status quo of four seater car. With the incredibly speedy Maserati Quattroporte, and the unbelievably stylish 2013 Maserati GranTurismo Coupe, it is safe to say that you will never think of four seats the same way again after a look at the incredible Maserati catalogue.

The 2013 Maserati GranTurismo Coupe is a truly stylish car. The sleek lines, the sporty look and the overall attention to exterior detail ensure that this car will turn all heads when you drive past. The four seater has a small body, and two doors, giving it a very compact sports car like look. Adaptive bi-xenon headlights seal the sports car association. 2013 Maserati GranTurismo comes in two attractive trim levels: the Sport and the racing inclined MC.

Inside, leather upholstery, plush heated front seats, voice-activated navigation system, 11-speaker Bose surround-sound and a host of other high quality features provide the ultimate in luxury to both the driver and the passengers. The leather touched interior features can be ordered in a host of tasteful colour specifications. One complaint is the less than adequate cargo space of 9.2 cubic feet.

The 2013 Maserati GranTurismo comes with a standard 4.7-litre V8 engine. This classic engine is further performance enhanced using electronic and mechanical measures, and the V8 have thus been cranked from previous values to give a whooping 454 horsepower and 384 lb -ft of torque.

2013 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

The 2013 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe has a truly unique design. If you are a fan of beautiful, well designed cars, you should definitely check out this amazing looking offering from the classic Cadillac company. The angular design almost makes it look like a predator about to pounce. And quite rightly so, too, with this Cadillac’s insane power train and handling.

2013 Cadillac CTS-V comes with rear wheel drive. A supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine powers this beast. The incredible power that this engine can develop has to be felt to be understood- 556 HP and 551 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual but you can easily switch to six-speed automatic transmission for free.

As the car nuts say, with power comes great acceleration. The manual transmission model can manage to go from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 4.2 seconds. Fuel efficiency is quite acceptable: with the manual transmission, fuel economy is 14 mpg in city driving, 19 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg in combined driving. The automatic transmission produces an average of 12/18/14 mpg fuel economy.

The exterior design of this beautiful car deserves all the praise it can get. The angular, sharp and sleek design is unique, and is bound to win some design awards. Unfortunately, the style has given way to the formation of some complaints. Apparently, the sunroof causes headroom to be limited. Furthermore, rear visibility is at a bare minimum, making it risky for the driver, who has to rely on rear camera feedback.

The interior of this car is nothing short of a study in luxury.  There are keyless ignition/entry, and a remote ignition option. The front seats are heated. There is a really cool pop-up touch screen interface. 10-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system gives unbelievable sound. All in all, your every luxury need is catered to.

2013 Jeep Patriot SUV

Over the years, Jeep has carried forward its passion for producing some truly outstanding SUVs by producing a line after line of off road beasts that truly perform best in rough, otherwise on travel-able roads. Some of these lines have been overall great vehicles – both in muddy, slushy off roads and around the city and highway. Examples include the widely popular and successful Cherokees. On the other hand, the Jeep Patriot line has often garnered distrust and generally negative review from Jeep enthusiasts.

The reason is simple. To put very simply, the Jeep Patriot line consists of vehicles that can essentially be described as one trick ponies. And that trick is off terrain driving. The Jeep Patriots may be masters of rocky inclines, slushy roads, and other insane challenges, but in interior quality, they are far behind the competition, and the acceleration and speed are often abysmally poor. The engines used are inefficient and fuel thirsty. Overall, not really a great ride unless of terrain is your only goal.

The 2013 Jeep Patriot SUV is no exception to the family traits. The 2013 Jeep Patriot SUV comes in three basic trim models: The base Sport, Latitude and Limited.

2013 Jeep Patriot Sport and Latitude trim models both have 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that gives 158 horsepower and 141 lb-ft of torque. Standard transmission is five-speed manual and a CVT are optional. Standard Hill-start assist is also present. The front wheel drive models have a meagre fuel rating of 22 mpg city; 28 mpg highway; 24 mpg in combined driving. Given the lack of power of the engines, this is rather poor.  The manual transmission fuel rating is worse at 23/30/26

The Patriot Limited uses 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine that gives 172 HP and 165 pound-feet of torque.

The interior is another disappointing feature of Jeep Patriot. It is clear that much of the development funds went into producing top of the notch off road equipment, and the interior was ignored. The base Sport model does not even have air conditioning or auto windows. The other models do, but are resultantly far more expensive than far better competitors.

Hummer H3 – Own the Immense Power

For many people, Hummers carry special meaning and grace. These simple, no frills pickups are the favorite car of many a people. And with good reason, too. They represent some of the most reliable trucks in the world.

The Hummer H3 has utilized a “less is more approach – stripping the car down to the most basic needs. This has allowed the Hummer H3 to be much cheaper than the competition in its range.

The Hummer H3 pickup truck is propelled by a 3.5-liter five-cylinder engine that gives 220-HP. When considering the mass of the Hummer H3, it can seem quite inadequate. Compared to the Hummer H2, the Hummer H3 has increased in mass, to a final, heavy 4800 pounds. The low power engine is thus an obvious disadvantage. The Hummer H3 has a very slow acceleration of 0 to 60mph in 10.2 seconds. Definitely not the car to take to the race track! However, the fuel economy of the Hummer H3 is decent, with 20 mpg being the stated weight or he previous.

The Hummer H3 hasn’t seen many changes from the previous Hummer H2. One thing that any user would be glad to find unchanged is the classic Hummer ability to handle off roads. The Hummer H3 does it beautifully, and rock climbing; trudging through marshes and sloughs are all just achievable challenges for this off road beast.

The outward appearance of the H3 may be similar with the swaggering H2′s. But the fact is that H3 reduced a great deal of frills in order to come up with a choice of pick up that is both affordable and good at what it does. For example, the door weather stripping has l...

The fuel ratings of this engine are quite agreeable, with 19 mpg in city; 23 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg for combined driving, with the manual transmission. 2013 Toyota Tacoma Review

The 2013 Toyota Tacoma is a great choice for a midsize truck. The reason for this is simple – the Toyota Tacoma has answered the biggest concern of all truck owners – which is that all truck owners want their trucks to fit their needs. Trucks come in all shapes, sizes and specifications, but truckers do not want to get out of their comfort zone. So the 2013 Toyota Tacoma comes in a wide range of specifications to address the demands of any kind of trucker imaginable. This has ensured the success of this model from Toyota.

2013 Lincoln Navigator SUV Review

The 2013 Lincoln Navigator SUV is a truly classically designed SUV that was designed with the comfort of its passengers in mind. This Large, blocky SUV hosts three rows of seats, and seating space is adequate and comfortable in all three rows, and you can easily stretch your feet and go for a dream ride. The fact that it is also usually less expensive than its rivals is also a great fact about the 2013 Lincoln Navigator SUV.

However, the 2013 Lincoln Navigator SUV was not built for power. Its engine is a quite backdated 5.4-liter V8. It provides adequate acceleration when the SUV is empty, but when filled with passengers and cargo, the lack of power can be frustrating. The engine gives 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. There is a choice between rear wheel drive and all-wheel-drive. The all wheel drive model features a single-speed transfer case that is electronically controlled. The 2013 Lincoln Navigator SUV comes in two trim levels: a regular and an extended-wheelbase Navigator L. They both come with three rows of seats and can seat seven passengers quite comfortably.

The blocky exterior is quite appealing. Featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, a classic design and a choice between chrome finish, and a Monochrome appearance package, this was a ride meant for travelling in style. 20-inch chromed wheels, a sunroof and a heavy-duty tow package are also optional.

The 2013 Toyota Tundra comes with three different engines. Conveniently, there is also an option between read wheel drive and four-wheel drive.

The 2013 Lexus IS 250 C Convertible is powered by a 2.5-litre V6 that gives 204 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque.
